NAM monitoring: Centre-level oversight and evaluation
The Ministry of AYUSH described NAM monitoring using activity-wise physical and financial progress reporting, central field visits for implementation verification, regional review meetings chaired by the Minister or Secretary, and one-to-one meetings with States and Union Territories for detailed review. NITI Aayog performs a mid-term evaluation of NAM implementation/progress using a third-party agency that conducts field visits.
