What happened: presentation of three Home Affairs committee reports in Parliament
The Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs, chaired by Dr. Radha Mohan Das Agrawal (Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha), presented three reports in Parliament on 7 August 2026.
The committee stated that it considered and adopted the draft versions in a meeting held on 5 August 2026.
The three reports presented were:
259th Report on “Action Taken by Government on the Recommendations/Observations contained in the 254th Report of the Committee on Cyber Crime – Ramifications, Protection and Prevention”.260th Report on “Review of Administrative Governance, Socio-Economic Development and Internal Security in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir; and Border Security Management and Preparedness in the UT of Ladakh”.261st Report on “Disaster Management”.
