What happened: MPD-2047 mobility and transport governance reforms

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs announced mobility and transport governance reforms under the Master Plan for Delhi 2047 (MPD-2047). The reforms aim to strengthen public transport corridors, coordinate integrated transport planning and enforcement through a metropolitan-level authority, and improve seamless mode transfers using multi-modal transit hubs.
