The Ministry of Food Processing Industries organised the PMFME Bazaar 2026 at India Habitat Centre on 24–25 August 2026. The event brought together exhibitors from 25 States and Union Territories.
The bazaar provided a platform for micro food enterprises, SHGs, FPOs, cooperatives and entrepreneurs to showcase their products, connect with buyers and explore new markets. Products highlighted include millets, spices, pickles, snacks, beverages and other value-added foods.
Background and policy rationale: PMFME Scheme launched on 29 June 2020
The PMFME Scheme (Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises) was launched on 29 June 2020. PMFME support is described as financial, technical and business assistance for micro food processing enterprises to either establish new units or strengthen existing ones.
