On June 21, the Prime Minister delivered a speech during the 12th International Day of Yoga celebrations in Kolkata, encouraging participation in yoga as a means for improved health and global unity.
He highlighted that the theme for this year is 'Yoga for Healthy Ageing', stressing that yoga is beneficial for individuals of all ages, and is essential for maintaining health as one grows older.
The PM praised the people of Kolkata for their cleanliness efforts, linking the principles of yoga to community and personal health.
