The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) hosted the First BRICS MSME Forum and the Third SME Working Group Meeting on June 19, 2026, in Agra, under the theme ‘Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.’
The event brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and stakeholders from BRICS member countries including Brazil, China, Russia, and India. This collaboration aimed to strengthen MSME ecosystems.
Union Minister for MSME, Jitan Ram Manjhi, emphasized MSMEs as critical engines of economic growth and called for enhanced BRICS cooperation in finance, technology, and sustainability.
The forum also highlighted India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, encouraging collective efforts for innovation and sustainable development.
