Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, held detailed discussions in New Delhi with West Bengal's Ministers for Higher and Technical Education, Shri Jagannath Chattopadhyay, and School Education, Shri Dipak Barman.
During the meeting, Shri Pradhan assured support for the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in West Bengal. He stated the Ministry's commitment to reviving the education sector in the state to align with NEP's vision.
Discussions revolved around the implementation and funding of various educational schemes, including the Samagra Shiksha programme, PM-USHA, PM POSHAN, and ULLAS.
