The nationwide launch of ‘Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Yojana’ took place today from Mukkavaripalli village in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh.
Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu, and others attended.
The scheme guarantees 125 days of employment for rural laborers and aims to empower local governance.
The Centre has allocated ₹95,000 crore for the first year, with a total target of ₹7.5 lakh crore over five years.
