India's High-Speed Rail Future:Building a Standardised Path for Expansion
Building a Streamlined Future for High-Speed Rail in India

India is nearing completion of its first bullet train corridor – the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR). This line will connect Mumbai and Ahmedabad in about 1 hour 58 minutes, covering approximately 508 kilometers.
The MAHSR will have a design speed of 350 km/h and an operational speed of 320 km/h, utilizing Japanese Shinkansen technology for its construction and operation.
The development of high-speed rail aligns with India's infrastructural and economic growth goals.
