India Unveils First Made-in-India EXIM Shipping Container

India unveiled its first export-import (EXIM) shipping container, manufactured in India for A.P. Moller-Maersk, at the Maersk-CONCOR Inland Container Depot in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh.
This milestone aligns with the Modi government's vision under Atmanirbhar Bharat and aims to establish a strong domestic container manufacturing ecosystem.
Maersk highlighted its confidence in India's manufacturing capabilities by ordering an additional 1,000 containers on the occasion.
This development reflects India's growing capability in manufacturing and maritime sectors, relevant for UPSC policy questions.
