The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MoSJE) launched the ‘National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR)’, focusing on prevention, awareness, treatment, and rehabilitation.
In 2020, the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) was initiated to further these efforts, aligning with PM Modi’s vision for a drug-free country.
Union Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar emphasized the need for collective action from all sectors to combat substance abuse.
