Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the CG Semi OSAT facility in Sanand, Gujarat, emphasizing India's commitment to becoming a semiconductor hub.
He highlighted the journey of this project from its foundation stone to now initiating commercial production of semiconductors.
The facility aims to produce 200 million chips annually, with a target to reach 5 billion chips in the future.
