Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal said that technology-enabled, bilingual management education can help bridge the rural-urban divide and make quality education accessible to talented and needy students.

Shri Goyal inaugurated a newly launched online bilingual Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur, emphasizing the program's potential impact.

The bilingual format, offered in Hindi and English, aims to widen access to IIM education. Goyal highlighted that around 100 crore internet users in India make this initiative timely.

He proposed four suggestions, including incorporating faculty visits, promoting soft-skill development, encouraging experiential learning through on-site visits, and adopting global best practices.
