The 4th National Steering Committee (NSC) of the Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs (PM-SETU) met to transition the program from its pilot phase to a nationwide rollout across 200 identified ITI clusters.
This transformation is critical as it allows States and Union Territories to implement based on their industry readiness and capacity.
The Committee approved Strategic Investment Plans (SIPs) amounting to ₹1,237.58 crore with partnerships from Jindal Naveen Avsar Limited, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, and Apollo Medskills for ITI upgrades.
