The Ministry of Tribal Affairs began a two-day National Workshop on Strengthening Tribal Research Institutes (TRIs) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, reaffirming commitment to tribal heritage and inclusive development.
It was inaugurated by Shri Jual Oram, Union Minister for Tribal Affairs, with participation from various officials and experts. The workshop included nearly 200 participants from academia, research, and civil society.
A major highlight was the launch of TribeX, a digital learning platform for tribal arts and culture, alongside MoUs with educational institutes to develop diploma programs in tribal languages and knowledge.
