The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has released the quarterly update of the PAIMANA (Project Assessment, Infrastructure Monitoring & Analytics for Nation-building) Performance Dashboard. The dashboard is meant to provide a unified view of infrastructure performance through standardized indicators and to support evidence-based policymaking.

The update matters for UPSC because it connects infrastructure execution, official statistics, and governance transparency. The dashboard covers six infrastructure sub-sectors and now tracks 165 indicators after the addition of 44 new indicators.

What changed now

The PAIMANA Performance Dashboard was launched on 16 April 2026. The latest quarterly update incorporates the most recent data from the concerned ministries and departments and presents the information on a single publicly accessible platform.

MoSPI says the updated dashboard adds sector-wise narratives, interactive visualisation, and time-series analysis. The purpose is to make official infrastructure statistics easier to interpret for policymakers, researchers, and other stakeholders.
