What happened
The awareness session was organised at Shramev Jayate Bhawan, New Delhi, by the Delhi Regional Office of the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) under the Ministry of Labour & Employment.
The programme was opened by P. S. Karmase, Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), New Delhi. S. K. Sahu, Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Headquarters, set the context by stressing the role of digital interventions and technology-driven efficiency in labour administration, and by underlining the role of trade unions in protecting workers’ rights.
The technical presentation was delivered by Kumar Amritesh, Regional Labour Commissioner (Central), New Delhi. He demonstrated the portal’s core features, including online filing of Industrial Disputes, submission of claims under modern labour codes, and real-time status tracking.
