What happened

The Ministry of Rural Development has told the Lok Sabha that all States and Union Territories have notified their State Schemes under the Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB–G RAM–G) Act, 2025. The Ministry also said that implementation in rural areas across the country began on 1 July 2026.

The same reply said that State and Union Territory-wise details of funds allocated and released since commencement are available in an annexure. The Ministry added that utilisation of funds and release of payments will be done by the States only after muster rolls are closed and Fund Transfer Orders are generated.
