What BARC-HPU and regulators monitor
BARC’s Health Physics Unit conducts regular environmental monitoring around uranium mining facilities to evaluate impact. UCIL’s mining and processing activities operate under the regulatory oversight of the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), with periodic inspections and reviews stated to involve AERB, the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS), and the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB).
