What happened: IIP Quick Estimate for June 2026 shows faster industrial growth
The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) released the Quick Estimate of the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) for June 2026 on 28 July 2026 (release date as per MoSPI/PIB communication). MoSPI reported 7.3% year-on-year growth for June 2026, supported by stronger performances in manufacturing and electricity/gas supply.
