What happened: PM-JUGA/DAJGUA launch and coverage targets
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs informed the Rajya Sabha that the Prime Minister launched Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan (PM-JUGA) / Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) on 2 October 2024. The programme is designed as a multi-ministry convergence effort to reduce gaps in tribal areas across infrastructure, services, and livelihood.

- 25 interventions implemented by 17 line Ministries.
- Goal to saturate infrastructural gaps in 63,843 villages.
