What happened: Kavach Version 4.0 approved for a specific rail stretch

Indian Railways approved the provision of Kavach Version 4.0 on 660 route kilometres of the Izzatnagar Division of North Eastern Railway (NER).

The estimated cost of the approved work is ₹295 crore.
