The International Cricket Council appointed BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia to head a new Governance Review Committee. The International Cricket Council also approved a US$12.82 million loan to Cricket West Indies, reviewed Sri Lanka Cricket’s progress on a revised constitution, and acted on membership and disciplinary matters involving Bangladesh, Mauritius, Canada, and France.
What changed now
UPSC may use the International Cricket Council decisions to test institutional governance, the distinction between membership status and board representation, and the way transnational bodies enforce constitutional compliance, financial assistance, and disciplinary conditions.
