Political parties are preparing for a possible constitutional battle over Lok Sabha delimitation before the Monsoon Session of Parliament starting July 20, 2026. The reported proposal involves the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, which would raise the strength of the Lok Sabha to 850 and begin the delimitation process.
