Delhi University started seat allocations for its one-year postgraduate programme. DU asked candidates across 28 departments to accept offers by Thursday. After document verification, candidates were required to pay fees by August 9.

Background and earlier position (seat constraint concern)

DU faced concern because the number of open seats for the one-year postgraduate programme was limited when compared with the seats offered to students graduating from DU’s Four-Year Undergraduate Programme. DU later raised the number of seats available from about 1,100 to 2,287.
