What happened during the Monsoon Session
The Monsoon Session of the Indian Parliament ended with major disruptions to planned legislative business. Youth and student protests intensified from the first day, spreading both near the Parliament premises and inside the legislature, which limited the time available for sustained parliamentary debate.

Opposition leaders linked the disruption escalation to allegations of a NEET paper leak. During the protest period, opposition leaders also pressed for answers related to allegations of pellet gun use on protesters and allegations about wrongdoing connected to donations associated with the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Parliamentary outcomes: passage, debate, and stalled agenda
Parliament passed twelve bills during the Monsoon Session. Even with these bill passes, the legislative record was uneven because only one bill saw substantive debate. The session outcomes included the following:The FCRA amendments bill (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act amendments) was referred to a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) after negotiation.The Delimitation Bill was not brought before either House during the Monsoon Session.
