The National Investigation Agency named Shabir Ahmad Shah, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Abdul Ganie Lone, Javid Ahmad Mir, Shakeel Ahmad Bakshi, and Mohammad Yaqoob Wakeel in the chargesheet. The record also notes that three of the accused died during the proceedings.
