What happened

Haryana Police stopped a delegation of 15 INDIA bloc MPs from meeting activist Sonam Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. The MPs said they wanted to hand him a letter asking him to end his fast while continuing the protest.

The delegation said many more MPs had signed the appeal. The MPs also accused the authorities of overreach and said refusal to allow the visit amounted to dictatorship.
