Prime Minister Narendra Modi reportedly told National Democratic Alliance MPs to reach out to youth during the parliamentary party meeting. The remarks were linked to the NEET question paper leak controversy and to farmers’ concerns over a possible India–United States Free Trade Agreement.

Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju said the Prime Minister highlighted the government’s response to the NEET leak, including arrests and a re-examination, and sought strict punishment to prevent recurrence. The meeting also highlighted youth-facing achievements, including India’s first private sector space launch by a team with an average age of 28.

The Prime Minister also addressed farmer apprehensions over trade talks and referred to a planned Kisan Mahapanchayat in New Delhi. He said trade agreements should prioritise farmers’ interests and serve both farmers and the nation.
