The Delhi government has requested a comprehensive audit from the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) in response to alleged unrecovered costs of Rs 38,500 crore since the privatization of power distribution.
Critics argue that misappropriations may have resulted in financial discrepancies. The audit aims to ensure accountability and transparency from distribution companies.
