Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasrin returned to Kolkata after nearly 19 years in exile. BJP representatives welcomed Nasrin at the airport, including an MLA from Dum Dum North Assembly constituency.
Nasrin is expected to attend an event at Rabindra Sadan in Kolkata. West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is expected to be present at the event. Nasrin described her return as a “joyful homecoming” and said West Bengal has not been divided by any border or barrier.
