The Ministry of Education implements ICT and digital initiatives—such as PM eVidya and DIKSHA—under Samagra Shiksha to strengthen digital learning in government schools across India. The Ministry’s stated intent is to enhance education quality by integrating technology into teaching and learning processes, including in rural, remote, and tribal areas.
The Ministry also referenced districts in Gujarat, including Aravalli and Sabarkantha, to indicate that the digital learning approach is planned for non-urban settings as well.
