What happened: Annexure-II lists completed and ongoing IWT projects on NW-2 and NW-16 in Assam and related areas

Annexure-IIA lists major completed IWT works in Assam and one completed project in Tripura. Key completed items include shore terminals, high-level jetties, allied infrastructure, and operational and maintenance works.

Completed projects listed in Annexure-IIA include the following (place-wise examples):

Pandu: High level jetty at Pandu; renovation and development works at Pandu terminal infrastructure; operational support works; approach road to Pandu jetty from NH-27; construction of steel gangway with yoke system at Pandu.Dhubri: Jetty and allied works for Dhubri terminals; customs and immigration buildings at Bogibeel and Dhubri; boundary wall at the Jogighopa terminal (listed under Assam works).Jogighopa (MMLP): IWT terminal at MMLP Jogighopa; boundary wall at Jogighopa terminal.Bogibeel: Cargo-cum-tourist terminal at Bogibeel; floating tourist jetty at Bogibeel; customs and immigration buildings at Bogibeel.Badarpur and Karimganj: Renovation of shore facilities at Badarpur and Karimganj terminal.Dibrugarh: Renovation of heritage building at Dibrugarh; operational and maintenance of other works including terminals and fairway development.Tripura (Sonamura): Construction and development of IWT terminal at Sonamura, Tripura.
