Under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, an advanced Common Incubation Center (CIC) was inaugurated on June 28, 2026, at the College of Food Technology, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV), Parbhani. This initiative received financial support from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) and aims to boost food processing and entrepreneurship.
During the inauguration, Union Minister Shri Chirag Paswan addressed attendees, highlighting the importance of value addition to agricultural produce and the need for sustainable farming practices. He emphasized the role of the food processing sector in enhancing farmers’ incomes and reducing food wastage.
