The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released findings from an Independent Drive Test (IDT) conducted across Ganjam, Gajapati, and Rayagada districts of Odisha in April 2026. This initiative aimed to assess real-time quality of mobile network services including both voice and data.
Key Quality of Service (QoS) parameters evaluated included Coverage, Call Drop Rate (CDR), Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR), and data throughput. The tests utilized live data sessions over 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.
