The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has announced a new Rameshwar–Paradeep Coastal Highway in Odisha. The corridor is intended to improve connectivity across the state’s coastal belt and to link transport, tourism, and economic nodes along the eastern coastline.

The project covers a 160.18 km corridor with a total capital cost of ₹8,300.79 crore. It will pass through Khurda, Puri, Kendrapada, and Jagatsinghpur districts.
