Minister of State for Education **Jayant Chaudhary** provided a written reply in the Lok Sabha on school coverage under the **Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI)** scheme. The reply states that state/Union Territory-wise counts of PM SHRI schools and the teacher appointment details for **non-Hindi native languages** are given in an annexure.

The annexure includes two linked tables: (1) state/Union Territory-wise number of PM SHRI schools selected, and (2) language-wise and state/Union Territory-wise number of teachers appointed for non-Hindi native languages such as **Sanskrit**, **Urdu**, and **Regional Languages**.

The government describes **PM SHRI** as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme intended to strengthen **more than 14,500 schools** across India. The reply includes PM SHRI schools that cover **Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)**, **Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS)**, and **NCERT**.
