What happened: new PACS registration and Ujjain digitisation
Madhya Pradesh registered 680 new Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS). In Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh reported establishment/registration of 22 PACS since calendar year 2025.

Ujjain district has 194 sanctioned PACS. Madhya Pradesh reported that 172 PACS are digitised and computerized using a common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) PACS Software.
Policy and administrative basis: M-PACS model bye-laws and activities
Madhya Pradesh’s cooperative department in Ujjain reported that steps for the formation of M-PACS (a PACS formation approach under Madhya Pradesh PACS rules and bye-laws framework) were taken in line with the Act and bye-laws of M-PACS. Madhya Pradesh’s Model Bye-laws enable 25-plus activities for PACS, including 22 M-PACS in Ujjain district.
