What happened (Rajya Sabha update through TRIFED)
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs reported in the Rajya Sabha that TRIFED is implementing two schemes—Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission (PMJVM) and Pradhan Jati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN)—through Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs). The stated goal is to strengthen entrepreneurship initiatives and create livelihood opportunities for tribal men and women, including tribal women, by enabling more efficient, equitable, and self-managed use of natural resources, minor forest produce (MFP), and farm and non-farm tribal product enterprises.
The Ministry also provided a typical VDVK structure and reported sanction, training, and operational product-selling figures for these VDVKs:

PMJVM VDVK: 15 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) with 20 beneficiaries each.PM-JANMAN VDVK: 5 SHGs with 10 beneficiaries each.
