What happened: Chief of the Naval Staff visit to Mauritius (10–13 August 2026)
Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) of the Indian Navy, undertook a four-day official visit to Mauritius from 10 to 13 August 2026.
The official purpose of the visit was to strengthen Indo–Mauritius maritime cooperation and deepen defence ties. During the visit, Admiral Krishna Swaminathan interacted with senior leadership of the Government of Mauritius and held discussions on matters of mutual interest, including:
