What happened (as reported in Rajya Sabha)
The Government of India reported expanding citizen-centric digital public service delivery using UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) and DigiLocker, alongside expansion of digital access through Common Service Centres (CSCs). The Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, stated these measures in the Rajya Sabha on 07-08-2026.

As on 31 July 2026, the Government reported the following availability of services and document types for citizens:
