What happened (National Campaign on Entrepreneurship-II under DAY-NRLM)

The Ministry of Rural Development launched the National Campaign on Entrepreneurship-II under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) to promote rural women entrepreneurship for another three months, running from 21 August to 21 November 2026.

The campaign extends the earlier phase and expands focus on both Farm and Non-Farm enterprises, with added emphasis on marketing of Self-Help Group (SHG) products.

On 21 August (World Entrepreneurs Day), the campaign launch included release of “Sankalp Shakti”, the first Rural Enterprise Technical Bulletin, described by the Ministry as a monthly feature.

Background and earlier position (where DAY-NRLM enterprise support fits)

The National Campaign on Entrepreneurship-II is designed to complement DAY-NRLM’s existing enterprise and capacity-building architecture. The Ministry stated that the campaign will complement Community Resource Persons–Enterprise Promotion (CRP-EP), Enterprise Development Programme (EDP), Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP), and Organization Structure Framework (OSF).
