The Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti, urged States and Union Territories to strengthen field-based learning by partnering with local colleges, universities, and academic institutions under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) 2.0. DDWS asked States/UTs to document, publish, and share “best practices” that are emerging in rural drinking water programmes, and to link this knowledge sharing to student tours across implementation sites.
