What happened

A joint operation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Manipur Police, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) arrested two accused in the abduction and killing of six Liangmai Naga civilians in Manipur.

The two accused were identified as Lungoulal Vaiphei and Lunminthang Sitlhou. They were arrested from Lei lon Vaiphei and Molhoi village respectively, in the Leimakhong area of Kuki-dominated Kangpokpi district.
