The Union Labour Ministry has published new rules for EPF, EPS, and EDLI schemes following the 2025 Social Security Code.
While these rules aim to provide a sound legal framework and remove ambiguities, trade unions have criticized the lack of provisions for increasing the minimum pension and addressing higher pension issues.
