What happened
Union Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary took charge of the Education Ministry. Jayant Chaudhary stated that the Prime Minister entrusted him with the responsibility with full confidence.
Jayant Chaudhary described reviewing the Education Ministry’s functioning and holding discussions with senior officers. Senior officials stated that Jayant Chaudhary reviewed major school education schemes including Samagra Shiksha, PM-SHRI Schools, and PM POSHAN. Jayant Chaudhary also discussed school infrastructure.
The meeting included senior secretaries from the higher education department and the school education and literacy department, among others.

The meeting names three school education schemes commonly used in UPSC education-governance answers: Samagra Shiksha, PM-SHRI Schools, and PM POSHAN. School infrastructure was also part of the discussion, linking scheme implementation to learning environments and physical facilities.
