Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan said he is prepared to return home from two-year exile in the United States to face trial on charges reported to include murder.
Shakib Al Hasan said he has not retired. He said he wants to play for Bangladesh and mentioned cricket goals, including aiming for a 2027 one-day World Cup.
Shakib Al Hasan said his return is conditional. He asked the Bangladesh government for a safety guarantee and immediate security clearance before he returns.
