The Delhi High Court quashed criminal proceedings against Nestlé India officials and distributors connected to the 2015 Maggi controversy. The High Court reasoned that continuing the criminal prosecutions would be an abuse of process because later testing results substantially eroded the scientific basis for prosecution.
