What happened
Thousands of protesters continued gathering at Jantar Mantar and Sansad Marg in Delhi over demands for a fairer entrance-exam system and action on an alleged paper leak. The protest kept attention on student concerns about examination integrity and the state’s response to those concerns.
The Cockroach Janta Party said police had conveyed that Union Minister J. P. Nadda wanted to speak with them, but the group refused to go to his residence. The protesters said any meeting should happen in public at Jantar Mantar or at a neutral venue nearby.
What the protest leaders emphasised
The group asked Sonam Wangchuk to end his fast, saying his sacrifice had inspired students and that they would continue the struggle. Organisers also repeatedly asked the crowd to maintain discipline and avoid abusive slogans, while focusing their demands on Pradhan’s resignation.
