What happened: Rekha Gupta’s address to youth at Chhatrasal Stadium
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta addressed youth at Chhatrasal Stadium and urged them to use their abilities for innovation, job creation, and nation-building rather than limiting themselves to social media. Rekha Gupta also warned about the influence of “urban Naxals” and described India as fighting a “two-and-a-half-front war,” including a “front within.”
Rekha Gupta stated that the new generation is technology-aware and sensitive to issues such as mental health, climate change, gender equality, innovation, and social justice. Rekha Gupta urged youth to convert ideas into startups and research into public service while retaining their Indian identity.
